Spotting ‘eyes, ears and tails bundled together’ among the off-cuts from the Pallet Project, Studiomama began to make wooden creatures in 2010, just for fun.
Studiomama created a book documenting the series of small wooden creatures assembled entirely from off-cuts of wood left behind by other projects, often themselves made from repurposed materials. This repeated reuse of waste material is entirely in line with the ingenuity and sustainable ethos of the studio.
