Made to order – each Face Stool is made from different varieties of off-cut woods, making each stool unique, with its own 'face' personality and character. 

Whilst working with Benchmark, we saw there were beautiful off-cuts of wood. Studiomama loved how these random off-cuts could come together to make something unique every time. It was at this point that the Face Stools were born.

Made from Off-Cuts

Studiomama's design transforms wood offcuts into unique, playful furniture. By using traditional joinery techniques, each piece features an anthropomorphic 'winking' face on the seat, with irregular, whimsical legs. This project emphasises sustainability and creativity, turning waste materials into functional art with a distinct character and presence.
