When Paul Smith invited Studiomama to collaborate on his 2024 Claridge’s Christmas Tree, we brought our signature Off-Cut Creatures—playful wooden animals made from reclaimed workshop materials.

Paul loved their handcrafted charm and invited us to reimagine them in honour of his iconic Signature Stripe. The result: Stripe, Crafted – a joyful collection of colourful, layered creatures made through a hands-on process of dyeing, laminating, and carving wood off-cuts into something vibrant and full of character.

Paul Smith X Studiomama

Craft, creativity and collaboration

Each Off-Cut Creature was made using a hands-on process of dyeing, laminating, and carving layers of coloured wood, turning off-cuts into something vibrant, tactile, and full of character.

Now, these striped creatures are part of Paul Smith’s global campaign, featured in store windows across London, Paris, New York, and Tokyo—sharing a story of craft, creativity, and collaboration with the world.
